Recycling

Paper & Cardboard
Paper and Cardboard are one of the largest components of disposed waste streams and can be readily recycled. The cleaner the material the easier it is for paper and cardboard to be recycled.

Food
We provide customers who dispose of large quantities of food, i.e. restaurants with dedicated food bins.

Commingled
Commingled waste describes the mixture of dry mixed recyclables, which is normally collected by local authorities.

General Waste
General waste is waste that cannot readily be recycled, such as paper, cardboard and plastics which have been contaminated with foods.

Glass
Gaskells’s Recycling provides separate wheelie bins for customers who dispose of large quantities of glass.

Metal
We can provide a Dry Mixed Recycling container for disposing of small quantities of metals like tin and aluminium cans, or a dedicated lockable skip for larger quantities of metals.

WEEE
WEEE stands for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. As a registered WEEE waste carrier, Gaskell’s Waste Management can collect all your waste electrical or electronic equipment such as TV’s, refrigerators, computers etc.

Hazardous
Hazardous waste can include many every day items such as batteries, aerosols, fluorescent light bulbs, old style TV’s and computer monitors, waste oils and oily rags, paints, garden chemicals and electrical equipment.
